What are the habits of highly successful people?

Here are some common morning routines of highly successful people around the world. Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Barack Obama, etc.

  1. Wake up early around 4:30 – 6am
By starting their day early, they prepare for the day properly with a relaxed mind.
For me, I try to wake up before 6am every day.
  2. Drink water
After waking up, drinking two or three glasses of water will help rehydrate one’s body quickly after losing moisture during sleeping for 6–8 hours.
For me, I drink water with a slice of lemon or vinegar(2spoon in a cup) in the morning and 1500*2000ml(7~9 cups. drink bit by bit but frequently) a day.
  3. Exercise
For me, when I wake up, I do a plank for at least 1:30 mins. Whenever you exercise, avoid overdoing it at first. Also, I started with 30 seconds of planking and increased according to my pace. Consistency is key. Begin with a suitable amount of exercise and gradually increase it.
  4. Remind plans for the day
They begin their day by reminding themselves of their daily tasks. It helps them focus and achieve their plan.
For me, I prioritize my to-do list the night before. I check the list in the morning and start with the first task. If you want to know an effective way to make a to-do list, this article may help. Ellen Park’s answer to What are some good habits to follow?

Despite their busy schedules, they don’t neglect their personal development. They read books or journals related to the fields of self-interest ex) economy, management, etc.
These day, I started learning about SEO.
  6. Meditate
Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Barack Obama, Michael Jordan, Steve Jobs, etc. They had a routine in common. They meditated.

Here are some words successful people have said about meditation.

  • Oprah Winfrey
“I am 1000% better when I do that! 1000% better when I take myself back to something bigger than myself.”
  • Bill Gates
”Meditation can not only improve focus, but it can keep your brain young, help reduce stress and boost memory”
  • Steve Jobs
“that’s when your intuition starts to blossom and you start to see things more clearly and be in the present more. Your mind just slows down, and you see a tremendous expanse in the moment. You see so much more than you could see before.”
  • Former General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt said he looks back on his day every evening. He reflects on what he learned, what was lacking, and what he needed to improve.

Successful people have already realized the importance of reflecting on their inner selves and managing their minds in their lives.

Meditation is to reflect on yourself. A person who grows rapidly is a person who is able to look back on oneself. It is essential to take time to evaluate how I lived and what I need to improve for succeeding and improving myself.

For me, I wake up and meditate for 30mins~1hour(also in the evening). Meditation is part of my life. This helps me stay focused throughout the day, I can feel the cluttered thoughts decreasing greatly.

As a daily routine, you can look back at yourself and clear your mind. As you meditate, you will become a better person every day. How to reflect and clear your mind for a successful life can be found below.🌱
